Board Appointment

The GAME Group plc, Europe's leading specialist retailer of pc and video games hardware and software, is pleased to announce the
appointment of Terry Scicluna (age 51) as executive director with immediate effect. He will continue to report to Lisa Morgan, Chief
Executive.

Mr Scicluna joined GAME, as Chief Operating Officer ('COO') for the UK and Ireland, from Alliance Boots on 15 October 2008. He has 30
years experience in retail including the management of multiple brands and, until recently, was Managing Director of UniChem with turnover
of �1.9bn. He was previously COO at Alliance Pharmacy, with turnover of �1.2bn and over one thousand stores. He has also held senior roles
at Thorn EMI, Brighthouse and Radio Rentals.

Mr Scicluna currently holds an award over 215,384 ordinary shares under the Game Group plc Performance Share Plan. The award was made to
him on 3 November 2008 shortly after he joined the Group as an employee. There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to
Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with Mr Scicluna's appointment.
