            Appointment of Michael Short as Non-executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Company are pleased to announce the appointment 
of Michael Short as a Non-executive Director of the Company. 
 
Michael John Short, 58, is a Chartered Engineer (UK & Australia) with 35 years 
of project management and site construction experience on a broad range of 
projects who, for the last 30 years, has focused on the engineering, design and 
construction of gold and copper/lead/zinc ore treatment plants in Australia, 
Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Europe and Asia. During this period he has acted 
as Project Manager and Site Construction Manager on greenfield plants, as well 
as on the extension of existing plants, and has gained significant experience 
in the preparation, administration and implementation of projects. 
 
Michael is the Managing Director of GBM Minerals Engineering Consultants Ltd. 
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Materials Mining and Metallurgy (CEng), a 
Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CP) and a Member 
of Institution of Engineers Australia (CPEng). 
 
Peter Ruxton, chairman of the company, commented:

progress, with our partners Auzex Resources, through the feasibility and 
anticipated construction stages of the Bullabulling Project in Western 
Australia over the next few years. Michael is an Australian who spent several 
years building gold processing plants in Western Australia, including two in 
the Coolgardie region, and with his wide experience in project feasibility and 
development elsewhere, Michael will have significant direct experience to share 
at this stage of the company's evolution."

There is no other information that is required to be disclosed pursuant to 
Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules. 
 
The Company is developing the Bullabulling Project and it is targeting over 1 
million ounce of gold from the deposit. It is planning to start the feasibility 
study in September 2010. A programme of seven diamond drill holes will start in 
middle of June.
