Central China Goldfields plc (the "Company") has been notified of the purchase
today by Global Underwriting plc, a company where Johnny Hon is the Founder and
Chairman, of 125,000 ordinary shares at 7.00p per share. Following this
purchase the interests of Dr. Hon amount to 250,000 ordinary shares
representing 0.47% of the issued share capital.
