Global Energy Development PLC (the "Company"), the Latin America focused 
petroleum exploration and production company, was today notified that Harken 
Energy Corporation, a Delaware corporation, has sold 345,374 ordinary shares 
of 1 pence each in the Company and now holds 21,905,142 ordinary shares, 
representing 62.67% of the Company's issued share capital.
