    CALGARY, Dec. 21 /CNW/ - First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. ("FCP" or the
"Company") announces that Mr. E. Nick Zana, a non-executive Director of the
Company, has informed the Board that he is resigning, effective December 31,
2007. Mr. Zana has advised the Company that he wishes to concentrate on other
business interests.
    Mr. Charles Pitman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, commented:
    "The Board would like to thank Nick Zana for his contribution to FCP's
business and wish him well in his future endeavours."
