               DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST IN ORDINARY SHARES

Further to the announcement made on 11 April 2000 in respect of an
interest in 4,202,157 ordinary shares in the Company, The Future
Network plc wishes to confirm that the aforementioned interest 
represents a holding by Morgan Stanley Securities Limited in respect of
a transaction on behalf of one its institutional clients.  This holding
represents 3.07% of the Company's issued share capital.  The interest
is unconnected with the recent placing which was completed on 31 March
2000.
