TRADING STATEMENT
Formjet, the AIM listed alternative software vendor, today issues the following
statement on trading.
The short notice cancellation of the Government's Home Computing Initiative
scheme in 2006 has had a detrimental impact on the revenues of SouthCoast
Distributions Ltd ("SouthCoast"). The Company has since repositioned SouthCoast,
but its short term sales have suffered. This development in addition to the
adverse trends in the IT industry already referred to means that the full year
revenues and profits at Formjet are now expected to fall significantly short of
current expectations.
The shortfall is mainly due to changes in Government legislation and will only
impact a proportion of the Company's sales. Its products remain in demand and
Formjet continues to explore new markets whilst trying to sustain and expand
existing ones. The Company is confident of increased short to medium term
revenues and is continuing discussions regarding significant contract wins.

Notes to Editors:
Formjet Plc is a UK-based company with a highly distinctive business model. It
acquires territorial rights to 'alternative' software products, and markets,
sells, distributes and supports these products in place of the vendor in
worldwide markets. The strategy has at its heart the proposition that we can
acquire product lines in territories of not less than a country without the
expense of either product development or the creation of IPR. The Formjet Group
currently has four product lines: Panda Software and Filestream are UK licences
and Ability and Software Dialog are worldwide.
Formjet reaches a customer base of more than 400,000 direct customers and in
excess of 17,000 corporate clients. This market penetration has been achieved
through careful research into relevant territories and then applying the most
suitable routes to market, whether through distribution and/or reseller
partners, or via direct sales. Formjet acquired SouthCoast Distributions Ltd, a
specialist OEM provider to system builders in July 2005.
