                     Elitel Telecom S.p.A. (the 'Company')

                        Resignation of Nominated Adviser


The Board of Directors of Elitel Telecom S.p.A. wish to announce the resignation
of Charles Stanley Securities as Nominated Adviser to the company, with
immediate effect. Accordingly, if the Company does not appoint a new Nominated
Adviser by the close of business on Friday 21 September 2007 the Company's
shares will be cancelled from trading on AIM with effect from 7am Monday 24
September 2007.
