Board Appointment and Board Changes



eq group plc, the marketing services group, announces the appointment of Stephen
David Towne (aged 41) as Group Finance Director. Stephen joined the company in
January 2004 in the role of Finance and Operations Director. He qualified as a
Chartered Accountant in 1989 with Coopers & Lybrand.



Stephen is a director of three dormant companies, eq secretary limited, eq
intelligence limited and eq director limited and was a director of Accusearch
Limited until June 2002.  No other information in respect of Stephen Towne is
required to be disclosed under Schedule Two (f) of the AIM Rules.



Brian Heather, who had been Group Finance Director since the company's formation
in 2000, has been appointed as company Chairman. Brian replaces Phillip Bennett,
who is stepping down as Chairman and as a director of the Company.
