The Construction Software and Building Systems Group
ElecoSoft(R) Exhibits for the First Time at Ecobuild 2013
ElecoSoft(R) , as a brand encapsulating the software interests
of Eleco PLC, and representing an international Group of software
companies with common interests, which develop construction,
management, engineering and visualization software used at
different stages in the construction project lifecycle, is pleased
to announce that it will be exhibiting for the first time at
Ecobuild 2013 Exhibition, (Stand No. N426) held at ExCeL London,
between 5-7 March 2013.
Since its launch eight years ago, Ecobuild has become the
biggest exhibition and marketing platform internationally for
sustainable design, construction and the built environment, with
over 57,000 attendees visiting last year from around the world.
The ElecoSoft(R) brand, under which trade a number of
internationally respected and differentiated software products and
businesses, provides software applications to help its clients
better manage different stages of their construction project
lifecycle, and by so doing, deliver greater efficiency and
improvement to the management of projects.
ElecoSoft(R) develops and supplies innovative ideas and software
and services with cutting edge technology, to the project
management, construction, pharmaceutical, timber engineering and
design, 3D visualisation, data compression, site control, stair
design, flooring and marketing sectors principally in the UK,
Scandinavia and Germany. It sells to 51 countries through a global
network of 11 subsidiary offices in Sweden, Germany and the UK, and
has more than 41 distributors worldwide.
Addressing the challenges faced across the construction
lifecycle from visualisation to site management, ElecoSoft(R) will
be presenting the following software companies and their products
to the industry:
VISUALISATION
This has become a common element in the design of construction
projects. Our visualisation technologies will play a key role in
the future construction as we lead into the era of Building
Information Modelling (BIM).
Companies/Products: Arcon visual architecture; O2c, Grand
Designs 3D and ESIGN
CAD / DESIGN
ARCON Visual Architecture is a CAD application dedicated to
designing building exteriors and interiors. Detailed plans can be
rapidly drawn while cross-sections and side elevations can be
generated automatically on screen.
StairCon is designed to meet the needs of staircase
manufacturers by providing the best possible support for a
simplified and cost-effective production of stairs, from sales to
production. StairCon is user friendly, making it fast to design
standard stair shapes.
ENGINEERING
StatCon Structural Post & Beam is designed to facilitate the
process of post and beam construction in wood and steel, in
accordance with the EuroCode. EuroCode compliance makes StatCon
quickly adaptable to new markets within the European community.
Eleco M@trix timber management is an application that can link
Consultec Framing and StairCon, into one environment. Used from
project inception to completion and delivery to site, the .NET
developed solution can control estimating, order processing and
invoicing using central data source.
ESTIMATION
BidCon contains a very large database of reference books that
are directly linked to price lists. It gives direct information
about time and cost and it is easy to download into spreadsheets,
either in detail and/or with our Compound Element.
With fully integrated Customer Resource Management (CRM) module,
Eleco M@trix combines all department and management data to provide
real-time reporting.
After the tender process is completed and the project is
awarded, the challenge must begin with calculations and schedule
planning. PlanCon creates an overview of the entire project and
provides control over time, cash flow and resources.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project Management Software plays a pivotal role in meeting the
demands of all sizes of projects. Asta Powerproject was the project
management software of choice for the London Bridge and The Shard.
Asta Development provides a complete range of project, portfolio
and resource management solutions for managing any size and any
type of project.
SITE MANAGEMENT
SiteControl allows for the collation of everything concerning an
on-site project activity into one place. The site diary enables you
to record daily activities such as weather conditions, labour
force, plant equipment and photos of site activities, among other
things.
ElecoBuild(R)
In addition and for the third year running, ElecoBuild(R) 's
Bell & Webster Concrete Ltd will be exhibiting in the British
Precast Pavilion on Stand N1154. showcasing its Bell & Webster
RoomSolutions(R), its structural fast build method of construction.
On display will be an update on its recent projects and examples of
how the RoomSolutions(R) system can save time on site, further
reducing carbon emissions, waste and noise and improving health and
safety.
Executive Chairman, John Ketteley, said:
"Exhibiting at Ecobuild this year represents something new and
exciting for the Group as a whole. We have never before assembled,
as ElecoSoft(R) , such a comprehensive range of leading
international construction-facing products, services and companies.
I am delighted to see that our portfolio of companies both service
