Dobbies Garden Centres Plc ("Dobbies" or "the Company")


Exercise of Options



Following the exercise of options by employees, application has been made by
Dobbies for a further 25,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company to
be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market.


It is expected that dealings in these new ordinary shares, which rank pari passu
in all respects with the existing ordinary shares will commence on 6 August
2007.
