Holdings in Company

Coal of Africa Limited (the "Company") was notified on 22 February 2017 by M & G Investment Management Limited ("M&G") that, as at 21 February 2017, M&G held 395,136,446 ordinary shares of nil par value each in the Company, representing 17.83 per cent of the Company's issued share capital at that date. The shareholding decreased by 2.1 per cent following the recent placement by the Company to Yishun Brightrise Investment Pte Limited of 240,042,603 shares.
