CLIPPER WINDPOWER ANNOUNCES SALE OF 80 MW OF WIND TURBINES TO EDISON MISSION
GROUP

Clipper Windpower Plc today announced that it will supply 80 MW (32 units) of
the company's 2.5 MW Liberty wind turbines to Edison Mission Energy, a
subsidiary of Edison Mission Group for delivery in 2008.  The transaction
facilitates Edison's execution of an option to purchase wind turbines as set
forth in an integrated supply agreement between the parties and previously
announced by Clipper in July 2006.  Including today's announcement, Clipper will
supply a total of 130 MW, or 52 Liberty 2.5 MW wind turbines to Edison Mission
Group for delivery in 2007 and 2008.  Based in Irvine, California, Edison
Mission Group manages the competitive power generation business of Edison
International (NYSE;EIX), an electric power generator and distributor with
assets totaling more than $35 billion.
