CLOSE UK INDEX GROWTH FUND 2012 (FORMERLY CLOSE UK INDEX GROWTH FUND 2006) (the
"Fund")

ANNOUNCEMENT OF SHARE REDEMPTIONS

On 15 November, 35,847,550 Zero Dividend Shares of 0.01 pence each ("Shares") in
the Close UK Index Growth Fund 2012 (renamed on 14 November 2006 from the
previous Close UK Index Growth Fund 2006) in Close Assets Funds Limited were
redeemed. Redemption proceeds are expected to be paid on 23 November 2006.  The
number of Shares remaining in issue in the Close UK Index Growth Fund 2012 is
14,652,450.

The Company announced yesterday, 14 November 2006, the results of its Class
Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting held on that date.  A further
announcement relating to the results of the Placing and Offer for Subscription
will be made in due course.
