      49% INVESTMENT IN CLIPPERTELE.COM ON AIM FLOTATION


Clipper  Ventures  plc  ("Clipper Ventures"),  the  AIM-quoted
yacht racing and branded boating event company, announces that
it  will  have  an approximate 49% interest in clippertele.com
plc  ("clippertele.com") when clippertele.com  floats  on  the
Alternative  Investment Market. clippertele.com has  announced
today that it plans to seek admission to AIM.

clippertele.com   is   an   internet,   web   operation    and
telecommunications  business  which  has  been  developed   in
association with Clipper Ventures. Over #1.5 million  will  be
raised  to  fund  clippertele.com 's growth  through  a  share
placing and offer for subscription which is expected to  value
it at approximately #10 million.

Consideration  for Clipper Ventures' interest  is  principally
the right to use Clipper Ventures' name and branding.  Trading
relationships  between  Clipper Ventures  and  clippertele.com
will be on an arms length commercial basis.

its  yacht  racing events and its web site as a key  means  of
communicating  with those following Clipper's  round-the-world
races.  clippertele.com was formed in association with Clipper
Ventures  to  develop  these  aspects  of  our  business   and
clippertele.com  has  now launched its www.sailthatdream.com'
portal  for  all  those  interested  in  sailing  and  boating
activities.

"Its  planned flotation on AIM will enable clippertele.com  to
accelerate  its rate of growth and develop into a  significant
business.   Clipper Ventures' shareholders  will  continue  to
have  an interest in clippertele.com and will also be able  to
