The Board of Capital Bars plc ("Capital Bars") announces that, following
receipt  of  clearance from the competition authorities in Ireland,  for
the acquisition of certain bar, restaurant and hotel interests in Dublin
("Acquisition"),  the Board met earlier today to approve  completion  of
the Acquisition.
