                            Appointment of Director 
 
Charles Street Capital plc, the AIM listed natural resources investment company, 
announces that Damian Conboy has been appointed to its board as a managing 
director with immediate effect. 
 
Mr. Conboy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia 
and began his career at Potter Warburg stockbrokers in Perth, Western Australia. 
 Following a move to the UK in 1999, he was involved in several business 
ventures, finance and other business development roles.  More recently, he has 
worked as managing director of Exchange Minerals Limited (of which he is also a 
director), a boutique corporate finance company with offices in London, Dubai, 
Perth and Belgium, providing project development and capital-raising advice to 
several companies.  Mr. Conboy is also a director of Strait Oil & Gas (UK) 
Limited, a company with oil and gas projects in Georgia as well as of the AIM 
listed investment company Alecto Energy plc.

As previously announced on 19 August 2009 in connection with his appointment to 
the board of Alecto Energy plc, in August 1999 Mr Conboy was banned by the 
Australian Securities and Investments Commission ("ASIC") from acting as a 
representative of a securities dealer or an investment adviser in Australia for 
a period of two years. ASIC found that Mr Conboy did not perform his duties 
efficiently, honestly and fairly and was not a fit and proper person to be a 
representative. 
 
There are no further disclosures to be made in relation to Mr Conboy under 
Schedule Two, paragraph (g) (i)-(viii) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
