    Final Results For The Year Ended 31 December 2007

    Chromogenex Plc (AIM: CGX), a manufacturer of cosmetic and medical laser and light based systems, announces that it has requested a
temporary suspension of trading pending the completion of its accounts for the year to 31 December 2007 ('the Report and Accounts'). The
delay in completing the Report and Accounts is due to the request by the auditors for additional time to finalise certain technical issues
relating to the audit of the Company's financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2007.

    A further announcement will be made shortly once the date for completion of the accounts has been confirmed.
