                             CEDAR PLC ("Company")

                    APPLICATION FOR CANCELLATION OF LISTING

The Directors of the Company announce that they have applied to the UK Listing
Authority and the London Stock Exchange for cancellation respectively of the
listing of the Company's ordinary shares on the Official List and trading in the
Company's ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities.

In the announcement by Redac Limited on 1 February 2002 declaring the cash offer
for the Company wholly unconditional it was stated that the 20 business day
notice period to such cancellation had commenced.  The anticipated date of such
cancellation is 4 March 2002.
