Computacenter plc, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure 
services, today announces the acquisition of becom Informationssysteme GmbH in 
Germany, a leading provider of large IBM systems, from USCF Holding GmbH. 
This acquisition will strengthen Computacenter's position in the German IT 
systems market.  The initial cash consideration payable amounts to EUR2 million 
and in addition, there may be further consideration of up to EUR1.2 million, 
depending on completion of the final balance sheet position.  It is anticipated 
that this acquisition will not have a material financial impact on Computacenter 
plc.
