Subscription Shares

Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited (the "Company") announces that following the final date for subscription of the Subscription Shares on 2 April 2013 Ogier Trustee (Guernsey) Limited was appointed as trustee in respect of the unexercised subscription rights (the "Trustee") as notified in the notice of final exercise sent to holders of Subscription Shares on 15 February 2013.

As the market price for Ordinary Shares has been below the subscription price for the Subscription Shares within the 14 day period following the Final Subscription Date, the Trustee has not exercised the subscription rights and accordingly the Subscription Share rights in respect of the remaining 13,085,150 Subscription Shares lapsed on 16 April 2013.

The listing of the Subscription Shares was suspended on 4 April 2013. The Company has requested that the listing of the Subscription Shares be cancelled by the UK Listing Authority on 20 May 2013.
