                            Directors' shareholdings


Birmingham City PLC ("BCFC" or the "Company") announces the following share
transactions in the Company, which took place on 18 February 2008, on behalf of
certain of its directors:

David Sullivan, Chairman, acquired through Conegate Limited ("Conegate") 975,000
ordinary shares at an average price of 58.101 pence per share.  David Gold and
Ralph Gold each acquired 750,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 59.75
pence per share.  Karren Brady and Roger Bannister each sold their entire
holdings of 438,125 ordinary shares and 87,626 ordinary shares respectively at
an average price of 60.0 pence per share and no longer have any beneficial
interest in the share capital.

Mr Sullivan is now interested in 19,924,827 ordinary shares representing 24.45%
of the issued share capital and Total Voting Rights ("TVR") of the Company held
in Conegate and Roldvale Pension Scheme nominee accounts.  David Gold and Ralph
Gold, together with Gold FC Limited (in which they are beneficially interested)
are interested, in aggregate, in 20,424,827 ordinary shares representing 25.06%
of the issued share capital and TVR.

The share transactions are shown in the table below, together with the resultant
beneficial holdings of the directors:
