Publication of Final Terms - Amendment

The following are Amendments to the Final Terms released on 26 March 2012 at 18:12 under RNS number 1123A in respect of the EUR600,000,000 4.25 per cent. Series 3 Tranche 4 Covered Bonds due 2021 under the EUR35 billion Global Covered Bond Programme of Abbey National Treasury Services plc:

1. The paragraph in response to Item 7(b) under Part A, under the heading 'Interest Commencement Date:', is amended from:

"12 April 2012"

to:

"12 April 2011"

2. The paragraph in response to Item 5(a) under Part A, under the heading 'Issue Price:', is amended to delete the words "in respect" and "the first", so that it is amended from:

"104.3073 per cent. of the aggregate nominal amount plus accrued interest in respect of the first EUR24,385,245.90 corresponding to accrued interest for the period from, and including, 12 April 2011 to, but excluding, the Issue Date"

to:

"104.3073 per cent. of the aggregate nominal amount plus accrued interest of EUR24,385,245.90 corresponding to accrued interest for the period from, and including, 12 April 2011 to, but excluding, the Issue Date"
