Pan American Energy LLC, Argentine Branch (PAE) hereby informs that yesterday,
March 13, 2008, the Legislative Branch of the Province of Santa Cruz approved
the "Acuerdo para la Implementaci�n de un Compromiso de Inversiones en �reas
Hidrocarbur�feras de la Provincia de Santa Cruz" entered into between the
Province of Santa Cruz and PAE dated June 25, 2007 with respect to the
exploration and production concession in the hydrocarbon producing areas called
Piedra Clavada, Koluel Kaike and the portion of the areas called Anticlinal
Grande-Cerro Drag�n and Chulengo located in the province of Santa Cruz, in the
south of Argentina, the terms and conditions of which were formerly informed to
the public. As a consequence, the term of such concession areas are extended
until 2027.
