Transparency Regulations, 2007.


The Irish Life & Permanent plc shares held by ILIM on behalf of Irish Life
Assurance plc in accordance with section 9(1) of the Insurance Act, 1990 were
inadvertently included in this notification. Shares held by Irish Life Assurance
plc in this manner do not have voting rights.


Accordingly, Irish Life Investment Managers Ltd did not then have nor does it
currently have a notifiable interest under Part 5 of the Transparency
Regulations, 2007. Neither does Irish Life Assurance plc have a notifiable
interest under Chapter 2 of Part IV of the Companies Act, 1990.
