         BATM Advanced Communications Limited ("BATM")
                               
          Agreement with Nokia Corporation ("Nokia")


BATM and Nokia announce that they have agreed that Nokia will
integrate BATM's IP switching products into its own telecom
products.  The initial contract to supply BATM's IP products
is valued at US$2 million. Prototype models are due to be made
available by Summer 2000.

Commenting on the agreement, Dr Zvi Marom, Chief Executive of
BATM said:  "We are proud and honoured to work with a market
leader like Nokia and believe that IP will be the leading
trend in mobile telephony.
