On 24 February 2005 the Company received notification by Citibank, N.A. London
Branch, Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LB that, as
at, 18 February 2005 Standard Life Investments purchased 144,297 shares on
behalf of Standard Life Group and therefore had a notifiable interest of
24,586,477 ordinary 1p shares in the Company representing 10.04% of the issued
share capital.

The 24,586,477 shares were registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees.
