Yara, Arab Potash End Cooperation Talks

Norway's Yara International ASA (YAR.OS) has ended talks with
Arab Potash Co. (APOT.AJ) related to a potential cooperation in the
field of potassium nitrate, the two companies said in a joint
statement Thursday.
Yara will consequently not seek to buy an ownership stake in
Arab Potash Co.'s subsidiary Kemapco and the two companies have
terminated a memorandum of understanding they had signed in
January.
The companies said they "remain interested in exploring other
mutually beneficial avenues" without specifying in which
fields.
