Yara Invests SEK1.75 Billion to Increase Capacity at Swedish Site

Norwegian fertilizer producer Yara ASA (YAR.OS) said Friday it
will invest SEK1.75 billion to sustain and increase capacity at its
Koping site in Sweden.
The investment includes the construction of a new nitric acid
plant replacing an existing plant which is approaching the end of
its operating life.
The total technical ammonium nitrate capacity after the upgrade
will reach about 450 kilotons per annum.
Construction will start in 2015, with completion expected in
second half 2017.
