Kluwer to highlight two key business areas at the 2013 Frankfurt Bookfair:
emerging markets such as Brazil, and digital offerings.

Present at this year's fair is CEO of Emerging & Developing Markets, Corinne
Saunders. In this new role at Wolters Kluwer, Saunders is responsible for
establishing a long-term presence in key emerging markets, such as Brazil and
India. Saunders will be on stand on October 9 to welcome a delegation of
publishers from the Fair's country of honor, Brazil. In addition to the visiting
Brazilian delegation, on October 10, Wolters Kluwer will host a group of Latin
American university publishers.

A continued area of focus is the company's online platforms, intelligent
information-enabled solutions and content developments. Wolters Kluwer Health
will showcase its digital offerings from leading product lines Ovid and
Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.

  * Wolters Kluwer Health has strengthened its portfolio of medical, evidence-
    based practice offerings.
  * With more than 160 journal iPad app editions, the company is leading the
    digital journal transformation. Wolters Kluwer recently added several new
    society titles to its portfolio, including Journal of the American Academy
    of Physician Assistants (JAAPA), Journal of Forensic Nursing, Inflammatory
    Bowel Diseases, Harvard Review of Psychiatry; and Plastic and Reconstructive
    Surgery: Global Open.

Subject-matter experts from Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory will be discussing
industry trends and developments in several presentations and panel discussions.

  * On October 10, Christian Dirschl, Content Architect, will give a
    presentation on "Big Data & Semantic Search" at 2.30 pm on the Hot Spot
    Stage in Hall 4.2, stand P99.
  * On October 11, Head of German Regulatory Affairs, Oliver Lowin will speak to
    the theme of "Strategic alliances and partnerships: How to benefit legal
    publishers?" in Hall 4.2, stand B2.
