LONDON--Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RR.LN) said Thursday that Scandinavian airline company Norwegian Air Shuttle (NAS.OS) has selected Trent 1000 engines for nine additional leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The power-systems manufacturer said Norwegian has also ordered long-term service support for the engines powering the nine aircraft, valued at $440 million.

The decision will result in an increase in the company's order book of $134 million.

The Trent 1000 engines for these aircraft were already accounted for in the order book at the time of the sale to the aircraft-leasing companies.
