CEO of Insure-Rite joins elite team of technology and strategic business leaders to help expand Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions’ footprint.

Business executive G. Richard Kasteler has accepted a position on the Advisory Board of Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions (OTC Bulletin Board, REFG), a leader in technological solutions for the medical cannabis industry. The Advisory Board provides guidance and strategic decision-making for the rollout of MCPS’ recently announced S2S, the industry’s most robust seed-to-sale solution.

Kasteler is the CEO of Insure-Rite, Inc. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Insure-Rite provides information technology services to state insurance regulators in determining motorists’ insurance coverage, and provides real-time insurance coverage data to law enforcement officers during traffic stops. The company’s complex yet efficient real-time data management has drastically reduced the incidence of uninsured drivers in the markets where the company operates.

Jeremy Roberts, Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions CEO, said of Kasteler’s appointment, “Richard’s experience in working with regulators to manage large, real-time databases is exactly the kind of expertise that will help our company expand its services to governmental agencies charged with overseeing the medical cannabis marketplace. We’re very happy to have someone with his insights on our team.”

“Our philosophy at Insure-Rite is that responsibility is the cornerstone of personal freedom. I see that same value reflected in the management and company outlook of Medical Cannabis Payment Systems,” said Richard Kasteler, newly appointed board member. “I’m confident that my background of working with government regulators and policymakers to ensure compliance with legal requirements can help Medical Cannabis Payment Systems fulfill its mission in this area, and I’m glad to have been offered this opportunity.”

About Medical Cannabis Payment Systems, Inc.

Our mission is to provide end-to-end management, across multiple management systems, for medicinal marijuana operations. Many medicinal marijuana companies have experienced such rapid growth that they are finding it difficult to manage all aspects of their operation.
