IBSG International, Inc., (the Company), (OTCBB:IBIN) announced today that it is continuing the expansion of its business in both its domestic and international projects, with expansion most recently in the Union of South Africa. To date, the Companys BizWorld Pro digital commerce platform has over 300,000 small- to-mid-sized enterprise subscribers registered on databases across all projects. Internationally, the project has expanded into the South African public and private sectors. Domestically, it has deployed its platform in 11 states with additional implementations scheduled for another 7. Domestically IBSG has deployed the system in 11 US states, and most recently in the US, it placed a system with the Dallas Government Contracting SBDC, one of four SBDCs in Texas. By completing the design phase of its implementation, IBSG is ready to launch to the areas estimated 130,000 small- and mid-sized (SME) business community. The purpose of the Dallas SBDC is to help Texas business grow, and for the 49-county northeast Texas area, it serves as a liaison between small business and a variety of business organizations all committed to the same objective building a solid, long-term relationship that will help Texas companies improve and grow. IBSGs platform now forms the computer backbone of the bodys efforts, and the Company anticipates branching out into the other three SBDCs in Texas during 2007. In the Gulf Coast region that is still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, IBSG has completed the systems deployment of Mississippis Virtual Business Innovation Center (VBIC) network and Alabamas Virtual Economic Resource Network (VERNA) as part of its support of those states. Released to their small- and mid-sized business communities, the Mississippi and Alabama SBDCs have recreated and validated their databases and have notified over 14,000 business clients that they now have access to their respective systems and their powerful business tools. Mr. Alan Shafer, COO of IBSG, said, IBSG is based in hurricane-vulnerable Florida, and we have personal experience, on a smaller scale, with the kind of difficulties our neighbors on the Gulf Coast are experiencing. We want to help SMEs in the region recover, and to that end, we are offering the first 30 days free. Internationally In the South African private sector, IBSGIs local subsidiary IBSG SA has teamed with Johannesburg-based The Business Place to create The Biz-Link, a digital e-commerce network partnership the two formed to enhance and support the approximately 20,000 small- to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) they service each year. Elsewhere in Africa, IBSG is making progress in Nigeria and Kenya, and management expects to expand continent-wide in cooperation with the World Banks health gateway. Most recently, operations in Ghana have gone live. Management believes that an e-commerce platform that succeeds in Africa is easily adapted to the rest of the world, and the Company will continue to work with governments around the world to support the small-to-medium enterprises in their jurisdictions. Marcel Newsome, Managing Director of The Business Place, stated, This partnership allows us to offer our clients a digital technology that provides the business tools necessary to develop, grow and sustain their business. With the incorporation of the BizWorld Pro system to The Business Places available services, our national network will provide for a most powerful and efficient digital commerce component specifically designed to support small businesses. This value-added component will enable not only current clients but future or non-clients to avail themselves of this platform anywhere in the country. Today is a victory for South African commerce. The South African initiative continues its momentum in energizing South African businesses of all sizes by providing entrepreneurs the tools necessary to successfully manage their businesses and dramatically improve their competitiveness on the internet. This leads to sustainability, long-term growth and increased employment as the SMEs continue to thrive. BizWorld Pro is being rolled out globally, and South Africa is a major international market for the system under the IBSG business plan. The operations in the country will generate revenues for IBSG through subscriptions paid for access to the service and additional satellite organizations seeking to expand digital services to their respective customer bases. It has also been a showcase for the platform as IBSG expands its reach across the African continent and around the world. Currently, IBSG has over 150,000 SMEs in the Union of South Africa, which represents roughly 10% of the nations SMEs. The Business Place will contribute further to that market penetration with the estimated 20,000 SMEs its serves annually. Based on forecasts for existing projects and expected expansion within them, management projects, but without guaranteeing, revenues for 2006 will range from $9 million to $11 million, and for 2007, management anticipates that revenues should range from $22 million to $28 million. The Company expects to file its Form 10-KSB (Annual Report) for the year ended December 31, 2006 by March 31, 2007. In 2007, IBSG expects to make an entry into the European market. In a recent meeting, representatives of IBSG International met with Anne Troye-Walker, Deputy Head of the EU and Head of the Unit responsible for Lisbon Strategy and i2010 (the EU SME Development strategy), stated that, with the exception of a concept, they have never seen a fully developed and integrated platform such as BizWorld Pro. The EU has strongly urged the implementation of e-commerce platforms such as BizWorld Pro. The EU has set aside 26 billion for SME development for the 28 EU states, and the EU has sent R450 million to South Africa in SME development aid to further demonstrate the need to focus on SME development. The companys successful project in South Africa further solidifies the replication and SME support capabilities of the platform and the model around the globe.
