manufacturing run of the Volt Solar Charger is underway in China
and proceeding according to plan.

GSLO ordered the mass production of the solar-powered iPhone
accessory late last month. The initial run of the device is being
manufactured in Shenzhen, China, an important electronics hub in
the emerging Asian superpower. Soon, thousands of Volt Solar
Chargers will be bound for North America, where GoSolarUSA holds
the exclusive right to sell and distribute the Volt.
“We’re working with Xiamen Solar Electronics to supervise the
Volt’s manufacturing process and ensure quality control,” said GSLO
President and CEO Tyson Rohde. “There’s a great deal of pent-up
demand for the Volt, and we’re receiving many inquiries into the
device’s North American release date. Right now, we’re pleased to
say that current production schedules are in line with our
expectations.”
The Volt Solar Charger is the only iPhone battery pack known to
GSLO that is compatible with all versions of the Apple iPhone. The
Volt attaches to the iPhone and extends its battery life using a
1500 mAh battery and a top-of-the-line, built-in solar panel. Plans
call for the Volt to be available soon in both black and white,
bundled with a one-year warranty.
“The Volt is designed to help make smartphone power cables a
thing of the past,” Rohde said. “We’re thrilled with this
accessory’s potential to introduce clean, renewable energy into the
daily routines of iPhone users across the continent and
beyond.”
