LAS VEGAS, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EQ Labs (Pink
Sheets: EQLB) announced today that internationally recognized MMA
superstar Gray "The Bully" Maynard has signed an endorsement deal
with EQ Labs, Inc. Mr. Maynard is undefeated in his MMA career and
currently competes in the lightweight division. He recently
headlined a MMA Pay-Per-View show where he fought Frankie Edgar for the lightweight title. The
fight ended in a draw and it was recently announced that Maynard
and Edgar will face each other in their third fight at a
Pay-Per-View event on May 28,
2011.
Mr. Maynard is also a well accomplished amateur wrestler. He was
the co-captain of the Michigan State Spartans wrestling team where
he amassed 106 collegiate wins as well as All-American honors for 3
out of the 4 years he attended Michigan State
University.
Mr. Maynard's responsibilities will be focused on acting as a
spokesperson for EQ Labs and EQ Energy Drink through personal
appearances, radio spots and "meet and greet" type formats at
industry events. The term of the sponsorship agreement is for 1
year and Mr. Maynard shall have an option to renew his agreement
for 1 year beginning on January 2012.
