Looking at the financial info posted as of end of August, let's evaluate what the current share price should be.
Website for APLVF
http://www.apolloalternativeassets.com/
The investment of APLVF into ATH was $23.5 million. The closing price of ATH was $38.86. This calculates to APLVF having 605,558 shares of stock of ATH.
Take 605,558 shares X $47 (current SP of ATH) = $28,461,226
Divide the $28M by the O/S of APLVF (76,328,950) and you get $.37.
APLVF should be trading around $.37 per share.

This is so undervalued right now. How so?
APLVF has 76,328,950 outstanding shares per their financials (ignore OTC Markets...has not been updated in years).
APLVF is basically 100% invested in ATH. ATH stock price as Friday closing was $40.28. APLVF has 605,555 shares of ATH.
Take the $24,391,755 valuation and divide by APlVF O/S and the value of APLVF should be $.32/sh and here it sits at $.15
Will be interesting to see what happens in Feb. based on Athene's projected ER results which is supposed to exceed analysts projections.
