In our Interim Results announced on 23rd June 2003, we reported on an
encouraging performance for the six months to 30 April 2003. We have achieved 6
new contract wins so far this financial year, including 5 wins for our
strategically important products that improve the management of operational
risks in banking and credit risks in energy trading.

The Board of Directors of Raft notes the recent steady rise in the Company's
share price and confirms that it is in preliminary discussions which may or may
not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of the
Company.

Shareholders will be kept informed of any relevant developments.
