VANCOUVER, B.C. / ACCESSWIRE /
June 26 2014 / Mission Ready Services Inc. (TSX-V: MRS)
- Mission Ready Services Inc. ("Mission Ready" or "MRSI") is
pleased to announce that it has entered into a Representation
Agreement (the "Agreement") with The Apax Group Inc., doing
business as CORTAC ("CORTAC"), through its wholly-owned subsidiary,
Protect The Force Inc. ("Protect The Force" or "PTF"). The
Agreement appoints Protect The Force as CORTAC's exclusive
Manufacturer Representative for the United States Federal
Government and South American markets.
Protect The Force will utilize
its robust infrastructure of strategic relationships, sales
channels, regional offices throughout the US, contracting
procedures and qualified personnel to provide representation
services to CORTAC including field sales, distribution and program
development. The Agreement provides that all Request For Quotes,
Request For Information and procurement opportunities within these
markets shall flow through Protect the Force and its duly appointed
team members.
CORTAC's flagship product is a
passive cooling, trauma attenuation and ventilation device called
the CTAV(TM). The CTAV(TM) is a flexible, lightweight textile
air-bladder system that is affixed to, or integrated into, body
armor carrier and base layer shirt systems. For optimal
performance, the CTAV(TM) maintains direct contact with the
end-user's combat shirt, uniform shirt or base layer. The CTAV(TM)
delivers improved comfort and functional performance of Personal
Protective Equipment, specifically body armor.
Subjective field reports,
combined with the objective physiological and ballistic testing
data, supports the CTAV's(TM) ability to improve the performance
and survivability of military and law enforcement personnel. The
CTAV(TM), is built around its patent-pending Advanced Impact
Resistance (AIR)(TM) Technology & EverDry(TM) Nanosurface. The
CTAV(TM) is proven to enhance the comfort of wearing body armor by
facilitating natural ventilation of body heat & accelerated
evaporation of sweat. The CTAV(TM) is currently fielded by U.S. and
allied Special Operations Forces, conventional military, security
contractors, federal, state and local law enforcement and
corrections personnel.
Gary Hess, President of
Protect The Force, states, "Our organization is
largely comprised of ex-military personnel who know first-hand the
importance of Advanced Personal Protective Equipment that provides
superior protection and comfort for the rigorous, and often
sustained, situations they are subjected to. The countless positive
reviews from law enforcement and military personnel who have
experienced the CORTAC difference spoke volumes to the efficacy and
need for this technology on a broader scale at home and
abroad."
Michael Letterman, CEO of CORTAC is
extremely pleased with the new business alliance as it positions
CORTAC for greater market penetration within the United States
Federal Law Enforcement, military, and South American markets.
"We are very happy and feel
confident moving forward with Protect The Force," Michael Letterman
states. "Protect the Force has a myriad of contacts within all of
our target areas. They are well respected within the industry and
have the talent to be successful. The most exciting aspect of this
relationship will be to watch our product quickly move into the
hands of the operator in the field where it really
makes a difference. At the end of the day, our mission is to help
bring military and law enforcement home - Protect The Force
significantly enhances that mission."
