Phase 2 Testing to Begin WEST BERLIN, N.J., May 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Resource Corp. (OTC Pink Sheets: GBRC), a developer of a patent-pending microwave technology and machinery for extracting oil and gas, announces today the Prototype GRFR1 machine has successfully completed Phase 1 of testing and has begun its Phase 2 testing protocol. On April 29th 2008, the Company reported that GRFR1, the 1 ton Prototype machine, was successfully engineered, completed and had passed its initial testing. The initial testing phase was focused on creating a strong vacuum for the machine to operate with. Phase 1 included a series of tests to ensure GRFR1 is getting maximum energy to the product and minimal energy bounce-back. Specifically, the test was designed to confirm that our technology is able to viably break down a larger weight of tires while maintaining a high rate of energy generated versus energy expended. Jeff Kimberly, the COO of GRC, has been in charge of the testing and commented from Rockford, "The gasification results from Phase I were extremely encouraging and confirms our development of the technology is on the right track, notwithstanding the very low power level of microwave energy that we were testing with." With Phase 1 complete, the Company is moving forward with Phase 2 in the near term. Phase 2 tests the use of larger amounts of energy in a fully automatic continuous flow process and requires four specific microwave systems. Specially designed "tubes" that meet the specific frequency and power requirements to crack the hydrocarbon chain in the feedstock that is being tested are in the process of being acquired, the Company currently has two of these units on site. Once GRFR1 has been fully tested and the Company moves to rapid commercialization, the necessary tubes will be manufactured in bulk by one of several outsourced manufacturers. Global Resource management has already been in contact with these manufacturers, receiving price quotes, output potential and time to market estimates in order to ready the tubes for production upon receiving machine orders. When Phase II testing is complete, we will notify all interested parties and schedule the demonstration of the prototype machine. "We are looking forward to Phase 2 testing in the near future and are confident we will acquire the necessary tubes, a process that will be significantly quickened when we have outsourced manufacturing," said COO Jeff Kimberly. "While this has been a longer lag time, we felt it prudent to not bulk manufacture the tubes until we received orders, thus maintaining our overhead to a minimum. The GRFR1 is performing to standards and expectations, and even exceeding what we had expected in some cases." About Global Resource Corp. Global Resource Corp., (GBRC), is a developer of a patent-pending microwave technology and machinery that extracts oil and petroleum products from shale deposits, tar sands, capped oil wells, bituminous coal and processed materials such as tires and plastics as well as dredged soil from harbors and river bottoms. Its process produces significantly greater yields and lower costs than are available using existing technologies. Because the process takes place in an enclosed environment it is emission-free and an efficient and cost-effective tool for cleaning environmental wastes and toxic materials.
