Department of Environmental Protection veteran and environmental lawyer will use his contacts to win customers for GRC's technology WEST BERLIN, N.J., June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Resource Corp. (OTC Pink Sheets: GBRC.PK), announced today it has named David DeClement as Executive Vice President. He joins Global Resource's management team, led by Frank Pringle. GRC chose DeClement for the role based on his background in environmental policy matters, engineering and his broad experience in pyrolysis, a process that decomposes materials through application of microwaves. He will use his contacts to market the GRC technology for commercialization of various applications of the patent pending technology. "David's background in environmental engineering, bulk commodities transporting and solid waste is the key to building on our business's already successful application phase," says Frank Pringle, President and Chairman of GRC. "He has 12 years experience as an environmental lawyer dealing with exactly the type of companies with which we look to partner. That, combined with his pyrolysis experience, is paramount to our success. With David DeClement on board, GRC now has substantially enhanced its corporate structure." Most recently, DeClement was an attorney representing interests from the solid waste industry. Many of the contacts he made in the industry are relevant to the operation and sales potential of Global Resource Corporation. DeClement's background includes four years as case manager for the Department of Environmental Protection, where he reviewed environmental remediation of underground storage tanks. DeClement was also President of Polyvac, a bacteria sales company based in Allentown, Pa. He was also an in-house and outside corporate counsel for a number of publicly traded and privately owned companies for the past 12 years. Earlier in his career, DeClement was director of freight for JP Rail and Southern Rail of NJ. There, his involvement in transloading operations, the movement of bulk commodities, provides experience in the materials that are the source of pyrolysis activities. "GRC's extraction technology is at the forefront of the changing face of energy in the United States," says David DeClement. "This technology gives our country the opportunity to turn old tires, car interiors, and other waste matter into alternative energy resources. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to become involved in this exciting endeavor that has an immediate impact on our environment and gives our country greater energy independence." DeClement is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Widener University in Chester, Pa., and a law degree from Rutgers Camden, in Camden, N.J. DeClement lives with his family in Pittman, N.J. ABOUT GLOBAL RESOURCE CORP. Global Resource Corp. has a patent pending process that allows for removal of oil and alternative petroleum products at very low cost from various resources, including shale deposits, tar sands, waste oil streams and bituminous coal with significantly greater yields and lower costs than are available utilizing existing known technologies. The process uses specific frequencies of microwave radiation to extract oils and alternative petroleum products from secondary raw materials, and is expected to dramatically reduce the cost for oil and gas recovery from a variety of unconventional hydrocarbon resources. GBRC's technology will not only be developed to extract oil from shale, but from depleted oil fields in the US and elsewhere, many of which still contain more than half of the hydrocarbons originally in these fields, because the residual hydrocarbons are too viscous to extract with conventional technology.
