International Inc. (TSX: MG; NYSE: MGA) announced today that it
has established a U.S. commercial paper program (the "Program").
Under the Program, Magna International Inc. (the "Company") may
issue, from time to time, commercial paper notes (the "Notes") up
to a maximum aggregate amount of U.S. $500,000,000. The Program will be backstopped by
the Company's existing global credit facility. The proceeds from
the issuance of any Notes will be used for general corporate
purposes.
The Notes to be offered under the Program will not be registered
under the Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in
the United States absent
registration or an applicable exemption from registration
requirements. This press release shall not constitute an
