TORONTO, Sept. 21 /CNW/ -- TORONTO, Sept. 21 /CNW/ - The books have been read and the votes have been cast. The first annual Indigo Teen Read Awards presented by Indigo Books & Music is almost here! On Saturday, September 25, hundreds of teenagers and fans of teen literature will unite to celebrate their love of reading. Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank will host the inaugural event, injecting an extra dose of cool to the heavily anticipated awards show. A variety of nominated authors, celebrity teens and musical acts will be in attendance. Over 330,000 votes have been cast in categories ranging from Best Read to Best Hottie. Join Indigo representatives, popular teen authors and Dan and Jessi for the event. The official red carpet is rolled out at 6 p.m. for photo opportunities and interviews with hosts Dan and Jessi. WHAT: The first annual Teen Read Awards, presented by Indigo WHO: Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank will host the awards show. Teenagers and fans of teen literature will be guests at the event. Musical guests include the winner of YTV's "Next Star" Alyssa Reid and Canadian pop singer Alex Lacasse.
