Wells Fargo to Contribute $100,000 to American Red Cross
International Response Fund to Aid Victims of Tsunamis in Indian
Ocean SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wells Fargo
& Company said today it will contribute $100,000 to help
victims of the tsunamis in the Indian Ocean. The contribution will
be to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to provide
food, shelter and other emergency needs. "The tsunamis have had a
devastating impact on a part of the world where many of our
customers and team members have family, friends and cultural
connections," said Wells Fargo's chairman and CEO Dick Kovacevich.
"Millions of survivors no longer have access to shelter, food or
clean water, which raises concerns about epidemics that could harm
