The following table lists unplanned and planned production
outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The
information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining
sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Citgo Petroleum Corp.'s refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas,
reported Thursday that an FCCU at the East Plant was being
restarted.
Valero Energy Corp.(VLO) said Thursday that the hydrocracker at
its Port Arthur refinery was operating at normal rates after a
brief upset at a feed pump. A company spokesman also said that ice
on a 66,000-b/d FCCU at Valero's Jean Gaulin refinery in Quebec,
Canada, is delaying the ability to assess damages from a fire early
Tuesday.
Marathon Oil Corp.'s (MRO) refinery in Catlettsburg, Ky.,
extinguished a fire that broke out Thursday morning at its idled
lubricants plant, a spokeswoman said. The refinery has been
operating at "somewhat reduced rates" due to a gate damaged at the
Greenup Locks that has backed up barge traffic on the Ohio
River.
