(NYSE:OSI) announced today that Debbie Eybers, the Cheeseburger in Paradise President, has resigned and is being replaced by Dennis Prescott, a 14-year veteran with Outback and most recently the VP of Operations for Cheeseburger in Paradise. Ms. Eybers leaves the OSI organization to pursue a philanthropic endeavor abroad. Paul Avery, Outback COO, commented, "After a successful career at Outback Steakhouse, Debbie Eybers took Cheeseburger in Paradise from a concept to a 27-unit restaurant business in 17 states, with incredible growth potential. She departs her role with a host of accomplishments to be very proud of. Debbie is exploring other opportunities within Outback and externally that will allow her to better match her personal goals for reduced travel and geographic location and we hope that she stays with the company." Dennis Prescott started his OSI career as a managing partner of the Burke, Virginia, Outback Steakhouse in April of 1991. In June of 2002, Dennis was promoted to Joint Venture Partner in the Virginia area. In July of 2005, Dennis was promoted to VP/Director of Operations for Cheeseburger in Paradise, and has been an exceptionally positive addition to this team.
