Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 24, 2019, the Board of Directors ("Board") of Mueller Water Products, Inc. (the “Company”) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.0525 per share, payable August 20, 2019, to shareholders of record on August 9, 2019. This represents a 5.0% increase in the quarterly cash dividend.

A copy of the press release issued July 25, 2019 announcing the dividend is attached and furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
