BEW Global Announces Launch of Next Generation Managed Security
Services Provider Platform
Market Adoption of Intelisecure Managed Data Loss Prevention
Services on the Rise
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO--(Marketwired - Nov 13, 2013) - BEW
Global, an industry leader in data and critical asset protection
programs announced the official launch of their Next Generation --
Managed Security Service Provider (NextGen MSSP) platform with
record market adoption of their Intelisecure Managed Data Loss
Prevention services.
BEW Global is the first NextGen MSSP in the industry to focus on
the content and context approach of analyzing critical assets as
they move about the organization's electronic nervous system,
leveraging Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions as the primary
monitoring technology. To support this approach, BEW Global's
Intelisecure Managed Services provides a dedicated team of
professionals to each customer's account. This enables a trusted
partnership model that provides the most effective program for
protecting an organization's most critical assets.
"BEW Global has spent more than ten years refining the content
and context approach to critical asset protection, and over the
past five years has successfully optimized the delivery of NextGen
MSSP services leveraging DLP technology," said Rob Eggebrecht,
President and CEO of BEW Global. "Instead of focusing on the
management and monitoring of firewalls, IDS/IPS and other signature
based technology tools like the majority of current traditional
MSSPs, BEW Global leverages content aware technology tools
including data loss prevention, email security and web security
gateways which are capable of describing and detecting an
organization's intellectual property (IP), research and development
(R&D), personally identifiable information (PII) or any
information that qualifies as a critical asset."
Traditional security operations centers (SOC) operate on a
tiered escalation path model that primarily focuses on bits and
bytes technology including firewalls, log monitoring and intrusion
detection and prevention systems. These traditional SOCs leverage
in-house developed security information and event management (SIEM)
systems which are constantly monitoring the world of signature
based attacks. BEW Global's SOC is comprised of a collection of
dedicated teams that focus on individual customers and their unique
critical asset protection requirements. Each team includes a
combination of talented professionals including Information
Security Engineers, Information Security Analysts, Business
Analysts and a Team Manager who are able to work together quickly
and efficiently to monitor and prevent the unauthorized creation,
storage, usage or transmission of the customer's most critical
assets.
"The bits and bytes approach gives companies a very basic,
automated version of their risk profile. Tools such as IDS/IPS, AV,
firewall, and anti-malware are important, but are not tuned to
monitor the specific attributes of the critical assets of an
organization. BEW Global's content and context approach is not a
replacement for the bits and bytes approach, but an invaluable
complimentary component to a layered security program," said Chuck
Bloomquist, CTO of BEW Global. "It is a paradigm shift that offers
more effective protection of critical assets by engaging different
parts of the organization -- business unit members of Research
& Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance, Human
Resources and Product/Service Management -- in the critical asset
identification process."
BEW Global and their NextGen MSSP Intelisecure Managed Services
are being adopted by the market on an international basis across
all types of business types and industries. BEW Global achieved
year-over-year record revenue growth of 79% in 2013 when comparing
the same period of January through September 2012. The growth is
primarily due to the acquisition of new Intelisecure Managed
Services customers which saw an increase in revenue of 108%
year-over-year from 2012 to 2013. "Our record 2013 financial
performance is being driven by the rapid market adoption of our
NextGen MSSP model and innovative and highly effective Intelisecure
Managed Services," said Eggebrecht.
BEW Global's Intelisecure Managed Services supports and manages
data loss prevention, web security, email SIEM and vulnerability
scanning platforms from leading vendors including Symantec,
