Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 30, 2023, Michael Howard notified the chair of the board of directors (the “Board”) of MariaDB plc (the “Company”) of his intent to resign as a director of the Board, and resigned immediately afterwards. The resignation was voluntary.
