Item 5.02	Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On May 11, 2023, the Board of Directors of MariaDB plc (the “Company”) appointed Conor McCarthy, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, to serve as the Company’s Principal Accounting Officer as well as its Principal Financial Officer under the rules and regulations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for purposes of consolidating those two roles with the Chief Financial Officer. Will Sanchez, who previously served as the Company’s Principal Accounting Officer, remains with the Company.
