Jacobs Receives Workplace Safety & Health Excellence Award from Singapore Ministry of Manpower

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that
it received the 2013 Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
Performance Excellence Award from the Singapore Workplace Safety
& Health Council (WSHC) and the Singapore Ministry of Manpower
(MOM). This is the fourth year that Jacobs has been honored with
the prestigious award, in recognition of consistent performance in
safety and health by Jacobs in Singapore.
The WSH Excellence Award recognizes companies and organizations
that implement sound safety and health management systems and
achieve top performance in these areas. The award is the highest
level of safety recognition in Singapore, and Jacobs is the only
engineering and construction contractor to receive it for 2013.
Worldwide, in 2012 Jacobs achieved the best safety performance in
the company’s 65-year history. The company’s Zero Accident
award-winning project sites and offices have collectively worked
nearly 117 million consecutive safe hours.

The WSH Council comprises leaders from the major industry
sectors, the government, unions and other professions. The Council
works closely with the Ministry of Manpower and these groups of

Singapore.
